Earth friendly properties
It really isn't difficult to see why we must do, all we can to insist on an environmentally sensitive solution; and the range of products featured on this website allow you to do this when purchasing your promotional gift requirements.
- All of the Earth Friendly products on this website have been selected on the following criteria:
- If it doesn't look good, feel good and show off your brand you are unlikely to buy it no matter what the environmental credentials.
- Lowest prices on the internet must be applied to all of our products
- Total product conformity; meaning to be included within our range the product (or at least a significant proportion of that product) must fall into at least one of the following categories:
BiodegradableThe main constituent has the ability to break down, safely and relatively quickly, by biological means, into the raw materials of nature and dissapear into the environment
These products can be solids biodegrading into the soil (which we also refer to as compostable), or liquids biodegrading into water.
Biodegradable plastic is intended to break up when exposed to microorganisms
SustainableThe Main constituent occurs naturally or can be cultivated commercially with little or no negative impact on the environment. This Sustainability is indefinite. For example lanyards made from woven bamboo fibre which require no pesticides to cultivate and it regenerates naturally after harvesting.
RecycledThe main constituent has been recycled in some way, for example a mouse mat that has been made from 22 recycled vending cups or a frisbee made from used cartons.
RecyclableAfter use the main constituent is deemed suitable for recycling for example the paper in a scribble pad that can be recycled into newspaper. This is an excellent example of a porduct that really highlights our Earth Friendly ethos because it is not only a recycled product in the first place but it can be recycled again or biodegrade harmlessly. |
