Designing a recycled promotional item

The manufacturing process of the recycled plastic pen often begins from a humble plastic cup, discarded plastic items are melted down and forced into a special injection mould, usually each seperate component is made and then assembled, the pen is then placed into a seperate machine for printing.

Recycled Pencils have the same crude effect as promo pens, however because of their more basic construction they are often available at a lower cost than pens. A pencil usually has a larger imprint area due to lack of clips and push buttons, usually being able to print the entire length of the pencil. Because pencils come from wood products they are already sustainable, however an eco manufacturer will often combine this with a recycled paper outer for printing.
